Students wishing to go abroad will now enroll in Indian Institutions – Government’s Master Plan. The government of India is preparing a plan with the help of which India’s talent can be prevented from going abroad. The motive of this plan is to provide quality education and employment opportunities to the Indian youth in the country. Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that “We want Indian youth to take their education only by staying in India instead of going to foreign universities Lead Indian industries and other institutions. We are preparing such a plan and environment so that next year we can provide education in the country to about one lakh such students who are willing to go abroad”.
Further, the minister added, “Our educational institutions are world-class. Students from our institutions are providing leadership to the world’s top companies. This year, about 50 thousand such students who were willing to go abroad, have expressed their desire to complete their further studies while staying at home”.
NEET & JEE Exam Dates:
Now, the JEE Main – entrance exam for admission to undergraduate level engineering courses will be held from September 1 to 6 and JEE Advanced will be held on September 27. NEET will now be held on September 13. This is the second time this year that the exams have been postponed. These were to be held in April and May, respectively.
