Supreme Court Directs CBSE to Consider Cancellation of Exams, Mark Students as Per Internal Assessment. The Supreme Courts Direct to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to Consider the Cancellation of the Board examinations to the 10th and 12th students. The result will be announced as per the Internal Assessment marks of the Students. Supreme Court Directs CBSE to Consider Cancellation of Exams:
Supreme Court passed the directions to CBSE Board today while hearing a petition filed by a parent challenging the board’s decision to hold the pending exams amid the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, putting the health and safety of the students at a major risk. Earlier, CBSE in consultation with HRD Ministry informed students and parents that the pending CBSE Board Exams 2020 will be held from 1st to 15th July 2020.
CBSE Board Results on basis of Internal Assessment:
A 3-judge bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar has directed CBSE Board to file its reply in response to the petition filed by parents’ citing the safety of the students. The plea filed by parents asks CBSE to declare CBSE 10th and 12th Results 2020 on the basis of internal assessment and let students continue their academic activities, including seeking admission to higher education classes further. The result will be announced as per the Internal Assessment marks of the Students
