Telangana Government to recruit 20000 Police Vacancies – Confirmed by state Home Minister. Telangana State Government has planned to recruit 20000 Police Vacancies. The State Government will conduct this recruitment process in upcoming days. This announcement was made by State Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali. Follow us to get daily updates.

According to the official announcement, 1,162 sub-inspectors at the Telangana Police Academy here, the Minister said 18,428 SIs and constables have already been appointed. Now the government was planning to recruit 20,000 more personnel of various ranks in police department.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao given the importance to the maintenance of law and order and has allowed filling up of vacancies besides sanctioning funds for modernization and purchase of vehicles for the police department,

State Director General of Police M Mahendar Reddy and other senior officials were also present during the announcement. The State government has provided 33 % reservation for women in the police department.

Apart from the announcement, Mr. Ali while reviewing the passing out parade of 1,162 cadet sub-inspectors including 256 women, at Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy Telangana State Police Academy here said a well established Command Control Center is also being set up in the State for the safety of citizens.
