The online classes that were planned to start from August 17, 2020, for Telangana Class 12 students have now been deferred.
The Department of Intermediate Education, Telanganaproclaimed that the online classes will not be starting from August 17, 2020. The new date will be informed by the department soon.
The education department informed the students on August 16, 2020, that the inauguration of the online classes that were to be done by the Education Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy had been deferred.
Official notice of Telangana online classes:
The notice issued by the department said, “The Department of Intermediate Education is proposed to begin the digital classes for the intermediate students through Doordarshan and T-SAT from August 17, 2020.”
“The inauguration of Digital classes for intermediate students by the minister of education SabithaIndra Reddy is deferred because of continuous heavy rain in the state,” mentioned in the notice.
The teachers, who were to be present at the school today, have been asked to wait until to receive any further notice.
Plan of Telangana online classes:
This academic year, with the educational institutions being closed, the department of education planned to conduct digital classes for a 30 percent syllabus of every subject.
The digital classes will be telecasted at Doordarshan-Yadagiri and T-Network channels- Vidya and Nipuna for about two hours twice a day. The subject wise digital content will also be made available on the YouTube channel of the department.
The students can also access the digital classes on YouTube suppose if they miss out on any information. This content has been prepared by the junior lecturers of the government junior colleges.
