The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has announced that the 10th public exams which have been suspended due to curfew will be held from June 15 to 25 and the schedule has been released.
With just a few days to begin the exams, a case has been filed in the Madras High Court seeking to postpone the SSLC Examination. As the case is being heard today, the judges have raised various questions to the Government of Tamil Nadu. Of this, 9 lakh students, teachers, police and the income departments need to be put in a difficult situation?
What is the hurry to hold class 10 examinations while the general freeze is in effect? Why is the state government violating the decision by the central government to reopen schools in July? Why take risks in the interest of millions of students? Many other questions have been raised.
It has also said that the SSLC exam cannot be allowed to be held on June 15 and hence the decision on the 10th exams should be taken immediately. The High Court has been ordered to report the Government of Tamil Nadu within 2.30 pm that whether to hold a SSLC Public Exams in the 2nd week of July??
