- AEE (Civil): The applicants must possess B.E. Degree (Civil or Mech.) of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.
- AE (Civil): The candidates should have completed Must LCE or LME awarded by Technical Education Department of A.P. or any qualification equivalent thereto.
- ATO (Civil): The candidates should have completed LCE Diploma issued by the Board of Technical Education or an equivalent qualification thereto. (G.O.Ms.No; 829 Revenue (Endts. III) Dept., Dt: 16.11.2000)
