UP B.Ed Exam 2020 – Movement to be allowed during weekend lockdown on the basis of Admit Card. Lucknow University will conduct the UP BEd Joint Entrance Examination 2020-22 as per schedule on Sunday, August 9. Clearing confusion over the non-availability of private and public transport and permission for movement on the examination day—which is a Sunday—the university uploaded detailed guidelines on its website

Persons taking the UP B.Ed JEE 2020 exam on August 9 will be allowed to travel during the weekend lockdown on Sunday; the examinees will have to show their admit card. This year more than 4 lakh students will appear for the B.Ed examination.

“As per government’s directions, every Saturday and Sunday, movement is restricted to avoid the spread of Covid-19. The examination is scheduled on Sunday and the government has given permission for movement. The candidates can travel on these two lockdown days. All they need is to carry their admit cards with them,” said state BEd coordinator Prof Amita Bajpai.

This year more than 4 lakh students will appear for the B.Ed examination. Through this exam, admission will be granted in 16 universities of the state. In the notice released it has been mentioned that the exam would be conducted at 19 nodal centers made in 73 districts. This time no private college has been made the center. The examination will have objective type questions and will comprise of two papers. aper one would further be divided into two parts consisting of General Knowledge and Hindi language. Both sections would consist of 50 questions each.

Candidates will have to reach the examination venue one hour before the scheduled time, she added. Covid-19 protocol will be strictly followed at all centres. Thermal scanning and sanitization of the examination centre will be ensured. More than 4.3 lakh candidates will be appearing for the examination at 1,089 centres across the state.
