UPSC CAPF Notification 2020 Out – Apply Online, Age Limit & Syllabus Pdf . The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the notification for the Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) Examination 2020. The Commission will issue a notification of UPSC CAPF 2020 on its official website upsc.gov.in. Online applications will also start with the release of Assistant Commandant Exam 2020 notification. The last date of application is 7 September 2020.

At the same time, according to the recently released Revised Exam Calendar 2020 by UPSC, the UPSC CAPF 2020 (Assistant Commandant) examination will be held on 20 December. The Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Examination is conducted by the UPSC every year for recruitment to the Assistant Commandant (Group A) in various forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
These forces include the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Last year, 323 vacancies of Assistant Commandants were recruited through the UPSC CAPF exam.
Candidates desirous of appearing in the CAPF (Assistant Commandant) Examination must have passed a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or institute or have equivalent qualification.
Candidate should have completed 20 years of age on 1 August 2020 and the candidate should not have been born before 02 August 1995 and after 1 August 2000. However, the Commission has also made a provision for relaxation in the maximum age limit for the candidates of various reserved categories.
How to Apply
- Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https//www.upsconline.nic.in Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form have been given in Appendix-II. Detailed instructions are available on the above mentioned website.
- Candidate should have details of one Photo ID Card viz. Aadhaar Card/ Voter Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The details of this Photo ID Card will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form. The candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the Photo ID whose details have been provided in the online application by him/ her. This Photo ID Card will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for Examination/Personality Test.
- The Commission has introduced the facility of withdrawal of Application for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination. In this regard, Instructions are mentioned in this Examination Notice.
