UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary)/CSE, IFS Main Exam 2020 – Phase-II of Exam Center Change Request Begins. The UPSC has allowed candidates to change their exam centers for the civil services preliminary examination. In Addition to this, candidates can also change the centers for the civil services (main) examination, 2020, and the Indian Forest Service (Main) examination, 2020. Exam Center Change Option Phase-II Details:
UPSC already issued a statement which said that, “keeping in view a large number of candidates of the civil services (preliminary) examination, 2020 (including the Indian Forest Service (preliminary) examination, 2020) and requests received from the candidates for changing their centres, the Commission has decided to give an opportunity to them to submit their revised choice of the centre.”
The option to change the exam centre for the Civil Services and IFS 2020 preliminary exam participants is activated in two phases. The first phase was activated from today until July 13 and the second phase is begins today from July 20 to July 24.
It is important for the candidates to note that their requests for change in exam centers will be considered on “first-apply-first allot” basis, which is followed in all exams of the Commission, and was also mentioned in the Examination Notices of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 and Indian Forest Service Examination, 2020. Previously, the civil services preliminary examination 2020 was scheduled to be held on May 31, but it had to be postponed to October 4, due to the COVID19 situation.
