Supreme Court – UPSC Prelims 2020 Exam Postponed or Not. Union Public Service Commission has going to conduct the IAS & IPS Prelims Exam on October 4, 2020 has not be postponed yet. Supreme Court has asked the UPSC to file its reply and reasons why the examination cannot be postponed.
Advocate Naresh Kaushik Stated that:
- It was impossible to postpone the examination. He pointed out that the exam was supposed to be held on September 30 but was then pushed to October 4. Deferring the exam further would nullify the objective of conducting the exam for various government departments, he argued.
- Due to COVID -19 pandemic the IAS & IPS Prelims Exam was postponed which was scheduled to be held in the May month. Now it is scheduled to be held on October 4, 2020 but due to coronavirus dangerous situation around the world, the aspirants have requested the officials to postponed the exam they appeal in the Supreme Court and waiting for the reply but the UPSC board not yet postponed the exams and also not replying to the court.
- It is beneficial for the candidates if the exams are postponed & relaxingly write the exam after the downing of COVID-19 pandemic.
