XLRI to commence classes for the new academic year in August. XLRI is set to begin the 2020-21 academic session from August 2020 onwards. According to reports, the classes will begin in the XLRI Jamshedpur campus and in the new Delhi-NCR Campus on August 10, 2020, onwards. The classes for the first semester students are to be conducted in the online mode.
The All India Council for Technical Education has on July 1, 2020, approved the admission of 120 students to the Business Management programme in the XLRI Delhi-NCR campus. In the new XLRI Delhi NCR Campus.
Director of XLRI Jamshedpur said
The launch of the new XLRI campus in Delhi NCR is envisioned as an integral part of the Jamshedpur campus and not as a standalone campus like the other management institutes.
The new satellite campus will help the student’s community to get the same opportunities and privileges as the Jamshedpur Campus. Approximately 95,000 students appear for the XLRI entrance examinations every year and with the Delhi-NCR campus, the institute will have an intake of 600 students. The XLRI Delhi-NCR campus and the Jamshedpur campus will have the same pedagogy and curriculum.
The results for the admissions to the two-year postgraduate programme in Human Resource Management and Business Management for the Jamshedpur campus was announced in May 2020 and the orientation programme for the Executive PGDM programme is underway.
A total of 590 candidates have been offered admission for Jamshedpur and Delhi Campus. The admissions to the XLRI campuses are conducted through the XAT entrance examinations.
